David J. Hale was admitted to practice in 1992. He joined RWSV in 1999 after practicing with a large firm in Louisville and with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Kentucky. A former federal prosecutor, Mr. Hale has conducted numerous jury trials and hearings in all divisions of the federal courts in the Western District of Kentucky as well as oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
In 1992, Mr. Hale earned a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law where he won a scholarship as a member of the College's national moot court team. He received a B.A. in history from Vanderbilt University in 1989.
Mr. Hale focuses his practice in the areas of business and insurance litigation, government investigations and regulatory compliance, financial institutions, government and administrative law. He has been recognized by Chambers USA for his business litigation practice.
Mr. Hale is an elder at the Fern Creek Christian Church and a member of the boards of Louisville Urban League and the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association.
Mr. Hale is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Kentucky and is a member of the Kentucky, Louisville, American and Federal Bar Associations.
